James “Jim” Christopher Douglas, a former IBEW Local 1 financial secretary and 41-year member, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022 at the age of 65.
Brother Douglas was the beloved husband of Tamera L. (née Cibulka) Douglas; loving son of Joan and the late James Douglas; dear dad of James Douglas, Stephanie (Matt) Chrestman, Sean Douglas, Phil (Megan) Dunlap, and Leslie Dunlap; cherished Papa of Natalie, Daisy, Matthew, Alyssa, Leighla, Jimmy, and Gabriel; dear brother of Kim (Mike) Bottini, Kathleen (Jim) Riggio, Karen (Mark) Schellman, Mary (Jeff) Roederscheimer, and Michael (Tracy) Douglas; dear brother-in-law of Tom (Lisa) Cibulka; cherished nephew of Joy Leber; dear uncle, and a friend to many in his lifetime.
He will be missed by all who worked with, knew and loved him.
A memorial service was held at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary Chapel on June 3 followed by a celebration of life at the IBEW Local 1 union hall. Contributions in Brother Douglas’ memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
