IN MEMORIAM: Iron Workers Local 392’s Mark Jones

Mark E. Jones, an Iron Workers Local 392 member, died peacefully on Feb. 3, 2021 at his home in O’Fallon, Ill. He was 67.

Brother Jones is survived by his mother, Fannie May Grace Jones, of Maryville, Ill.; daughters, Melissa (Jon) Thurlow, of O’Fallon, Jennifer (Ron) Blake, of O’Fallon, and Bethany (Stephen) Luebbers, of Troy, Ill.; brothers, Jeff (Angela) Jones and Scott Jones; and six grandchildren, Elijah Jones, Mason Thurlow, Marlee Blake, Reid Thurlow, Sawyer Luebbers and Elowen Luebbers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E Jones, of O’Fallon; his father, Melvin E. Jones, of Maryville, Ill.; and his brother, Richard Jones.

A graveside service was held Feb. 19 at the O’Fallon City Cemetery.
