Kevin Michael Arent, a member of Laborers Local 110, passed away on Sept. 14, 2023 at the age of 46.
Brother Arent, of Foristell, Mo., was born on August 19, 1977 in Town and Country to Jack Arent and Geraldine “Geri” Simmons. He was an avid fisherman with a passion for the outdoors and wildlife. Kevin loved trapping coyotes, and making coyote pelts, along with other wild game.
If Kevin wasn’t fishing or trapping, he was with his daughters and fiancé hanging out, and watching the KC Chiefs games together. Kevin enjoyed life, family members and many friends. Kevin was always there to brighten the lives of those around him, always willing to lend a helping hand and you would always see him in his sleeveless t-shirts. He was very loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Brother Arent is survived by his fiancé, Megan Yankowski; father, John “Jack” Arent, step-mom, Mary McGurk; father-in-law, Ron Yankowski; mother-in-law, Connie Yankowski; two daughters, Regan Arent and Peyton Hart; two sisters, Kris (Jason) Kozdron, Kate Nelson; and three nephews, Gavin, Harrison and Milo. He is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine “Geri” Frances Simmons.
A funeral service was held Sept. 28 at Collier Funeral Home in St. Ann. Memorials may be made to the Missouri Department of Transportation at mdc.mo.gov/contact-engage/donate.
