Insulators Local 1 celebrates 125th anniversary

Heat and Frost Insulators Local 1 celebrated its 125th anniversary Sept. 9 with a gala celebration. Founded in 1898 as the first organized union of Heat and Frost insulators, Local 1 has a long and storied history in the building trades and Labor Movement, not only in St. Louis but around the country. Today, Local 1 represents 350 of the best trained and most qualified Insulation industry professionals in eastern Missouri and western Illinois. – Insulators Local 1 photo
