Laborers 110’s Don Willey to be honored at St. Louis County Extension Council Dinner

Laborers Local 110 Business Manager Don Willey will be recognized for his leadership March 6 at the 2020 St. Louis County Extension Council’s annual dinner and fundraiser.

The event, which is open to the public, will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at Orlando’s Event Center at 2050 Dorsett Village Plaza in Maryland Heights. Tickets are available for $40 each or $315 for a table of eight.

HONORED FOR LEADERSHIP
Willey will be recognized as one of five partners added to the Extension Leaders Honor Roll. The four other honorees include:

  • Amanda Davis, vice president of the St. Louis Association of Community Organizers (SLACO) board
  • Beverly Jones, a job coach at MERS/Goodwill
  • Phaedra Nelson, Healthy Schools Healthy Communities wellness director for Gateway Region YMCA
  • Diane Witte, a teacher at the Special School District

Missouri Representative Kevin Windham (D-Hillsdale) and Dr. Sheronica Hardin-Bartley, superintendent of the University City School District, will serve as guest speakers at the event, which provides an opportunity to learn the impact the extension has had in the St. Louis region in the last year and to hear its vision for the future.
