Laborers’ Local 110 is scheduled to present a $2,500 check to the Arnold Food Pantry during the Taste of Arnold on Thursday, July 28.
The celebration will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center, 2300 Church Road in Arnold, MO. Proceeds from the event will benefit the food pantry, an organization Laborers’ 110 and many other local unions have supported throughout the years.
Guests will be able to sample specialties from more than 20 local eateries and enjoy music by the lowercase g’s. Food will be served from 5 to 7 p.m., and check presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $17 for adults ($15 in advance), $8 for children 6-12 ($6 in advance) and free for children 5 and under. Advance tickets are available at the Arnold Food Pantry and at Arnold City Hall.
The Arnold Food Pantry is the largest non-denominational food distribution center in the St. Louis region that does not receive city, state or federal government funding. The pantry, which feeds about 320 families a week, serves residents in Arnold and portions of Imperial and Fenton.
