Local tradeswomen celebrate sisterhood at MoWIT holiday party

ABOUT 25 LOCAL UNION TRADESWOMEN celebrated sisterhood with food, fun and a white elephant gift exchange that included tools and winter gear at the Missouri Women in Trades (MoWIT) holiday party at the MoWIT office at 2929 S. Jefferson Ave. on Dec. 11. Founded as a non-profit organization in 2008, MoWIT is dedicated to expanding opportunities for women to enter and succeed in apprenticeship and careers in the construction and building trades in the greater St. Louis area.
