50 YEARS TO THE DAY that he started his apprenticeship with Sextro Painting on Sept. 17, 1963, International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 2 retired painter Norman Turley, a member of Local 137, received his gold card, watch and plaque, as well as a letter from IUPAT General President G.P. Rigmaiden. Celebrating are (from left) Local 137 Business Agent Dan Melchior, Turley and Local 137 President Kevin Hart. Brother Turley has been retired for seven years and enjoys traveling with his wife, Sandra, and keeping up with his son, two daughters and three grandchildren.
