Granite City – The 36th Annual Tri-City Labor Day Parade capped the two-week Labor Day celebration of the Greater Madison County Federation of Labor on Sept. 5.
The events began on Aug. 24 with the James Stanley Memorial Charity Softball Tournament and included the Alton/Wood River Union Family Parade on Aug. 27. Monday’s parade was followed by the annual picnic and celebration at Wilson Park in Granite City.
