Registration now open for 2019 Women Build Nations Conference

The ninth annual event will be held in Minneapolis Oct. 4-6

Registration is now open for the 2019 Women Build Nations Conference this fall in Minnesota.

The ninth annual convention, sponsored in part by the North American Building Trades Unions, is scheduled for Oct. 4-6 at the Hilton in Downtown Minneapolis. Hotel rooms at the Hilton are sold out for the event, but nearby hotels are available.

Last year, more than 2,300 tradeswomen representing every craft in the building trades came together for the event, which was held in Seattle. Several St. Louis area tradeswomen attended the conference as well.

The event is for women of all ages and skill levels who work, or aspire to work, in the construction trades. It provides opportunities for networking, learning and leadership development for all attendees, whether you are a pre-apprentice or a seasoned journeyperson.

The conference offers workshops and plenary sessions facilitated by tradeswomen and featuring union leaders, apprenticeship coordinators, contractors and politicians. This information-packed and fun-filled weekend will provide tradeswomen with a renewed sense of career purpose, new friends and memories to carry through life.

The cost of the conference is $150 per person. For more information or to register, visit nabtu.org/wbn.
