CRYSTAL QUADE

St. Louis – The St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council has endorsed House Minority Leader Crystal Quade’s campaign to become Missouri’s next governor.

“Crystal Quade is a champion of workers’ rights and has long stood with working Missourians to help stop anti-worker legislation. She worked alongside Labor unions to help defeat the so-called ‘right-to-work’ laws pushed by anti-union politicians. Crystal is a leader who will make working Missourians a priority, not an afterthought,” said John Stiffler, executive secretary-treasurer of the St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council.

“I’m excited and honored to receive the St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council’s endorsement. Since we launched our campaign, we’ve been putting working Missourians and workers’ rights first. As governor, I’ll make sure the legislature is focused on passing laws that help Missouri families beat the odds,” Quade said.

The endorsement is the latest in a growing list of endorsements from Labor and advocacy organizations, cementing Quade’s campaign as the frontrunner in the Democratic Primary for governor, including the Missouri AFL-CIO, SEIU State Council and Healthcare, Missouri IBEW State Conference, UFCW Local 655, Teamsters Local 245, the Greater Kansas City and Sedalia Building & Construction Trades Councils, the Missouri-Kansas-Nebraska Conference of Teamsters, Planned Parenthood Great Plains Votes, AccessMO, the Missouri Women’s Leadership Coalition, the National Women’s Political Caucus, the Missouri Women’s Political Caucus, the Kansas City Women’s Political Caucus, and the Missouri Chapter of the Sierra Club.
