Sauget, IL – Nothing beats a night out at the old ballpark, especially if it’s for a good cause. So make plans to attend the annual Night at the Grizzlies on June 3 to help the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance Burn Camp for Kids.
Steamfitters Local 439 will hold the event for a 14th straight year, having raised more than $300,000 already for the burn camp, which relies on donations and needs about $2,500 a week for each camper.
This year, the Gateway Grizzlies will play their rival, the River City Rascals from O’Fallon, MO. Tickets are $25 each, while Homerun sponsorships are $100. Send checks payable to IFSA to Steamfitters 439, 1220 Donald Bailey Drive, Caseyville IL 62232.
The annual pre-game pork steak picnic, with music, will begin at 5:45 p.m., followed by the game at 7:05 p.m. The game is at GLC Ballpark off Interstate 255 at Mousette Lane south of St. Louis.
