The Tri-County Labor Club is asking union brothers and sisters living in the Wentzville School District to post yard signs to help elect Labor-endorsed school board candidates Dan Brice, Kori Sloan and Erin Abbott in the June 2 election.

Labor has had trouble with the Wentzville School Board using non-union contractors on taxpayer jobs and voting against Labor when it comes to construction projects in the School District.

“We need strong Labor voices on the  School Board and must work to get these three Labor-friendly candidates elected,” Labor Club President Steve Bailey said.

“If you or someone you know will put a candidate sign in the yard, it would help get their names into the community and improve vote counts,” Bailey said.

“Dan Brice, Kori Sloan are on one sign and Erin Abbott has her own,” Bailey said.

To get yard signs, contact Bailey by phone at 636-377-6565 or email stevebail@yahoo.com with your address and someone will place a sign in your yard. You need not be home to have a sign placed. If you have a location for a large sign, specify that on your response.

COPE-endorsed candidates for the June 2 election can be found on the Labor Club’s website at TriCountyLaborClub.com.
