UAW 2250 hosting meat shoot, chili cook-off March 24

The UAW Local 2250 Recreation Committee is hosting a meat shoot and chili cook-off Sunday, March 24. The event is open to the public.

The meat shoot and cook-off will be held at the union’s hall at 1395 E. Pearce Blvd. in Wentzville, starting at noon. The cost to take part in the meat shoot is $3 per round and house guns and ammunition will be provided. Attendees can sample all the chili and vote on a winner for $5.

To enter the chili cook-off, bring your chili and a way to keep it warm to the hall between 10:30 a.m. and noon. Local 2250 will provide all chili fixings and supplies.
