UAW Region 5 donates $5,751 to United Way to help union members in need

Hazelwood, MO – United Auto Workers (UAW) Region 5 recently presented a check for $5,751 to the United Way of Greater St. Louis to help union members in need. The money was raised at the 6th Annual UAW Region 5 Director Vance Pearson Charity Golf Tournament. Hosted by the UAW Local 2250 Women’s Committee, this year’s fundraiser was the most successful to date. Local 2250 President Glenn Kage (center) presented the check to the United Way’s Director of Labor Engagement/Labor Liaison Sonja Gholston-Byrd at the UAW Region 5 Hall in Hazelwood on Sept. 11.
