YOUR LETTERS: Clean Missouri passed with 62% of the vote. Why are Republican lawmakers trying to overturn it?

Missouri’s 2020 legislative session is under way in Jefferson City. And we already know lawmakers in the chamber are attempting to overturn Amendment 1, Clean Missouri.

We must continue to protect these reforms.

Clean Missouri was passed with 62 percent of voter support in 2018. So why are Republican members of the legislature trying to overturn it? Because they want to be able to draw their own lines, pick their own voters, and continue to be funded by dark money.

Jefferson City Republicans are trying to bring gerrymandering back.

If you’re one of the 1,469,093 voters who supported Clean Missouri, please donate to fund our Rapid Response Digital Team at secure.actblue.com/donate/blu_gall_20q1_donate.
