The same crowd that attacked our Capitol last Jan. 6 is now targeting our public schools via board elections on April 5.
We can’t let them succeed.
It’s our duty to make sure far-right zealots never hold any decision-making power in our children’s futures. After all, we’ve seen how Republicans are willing to toss aside our children’s safety for their own personal gain.
Take Attorney General Eric Schmitt, who is trying to ban school mask mandates – even asking parents to take pictures and “report” children wearing masks, effectively doxxing them.
We need to send a clear message that our children will NOT be used as political pawns.
