Like so many Americans, I want to grow our economy the best we can.
This means investing in clean energy, funding for roads and bridges, and making workforce development a priority. It also means strengthening and supporting unions.
Throughout my legislative career, I have fought for unions here in Missouri. When Republicans in Jefferson City exercised the nuclear option on the so-called “right-to-work,” I was the one in the well of the Senate … with every procedural motion in the book.
Last week the House approved the pro-Labor PRO Act with a bi-partisan vote. The Act provides essential protections to union workers.
Working families have made their voices heard. The PRO Act is one step closer to leveling the playing field for working families. So if you support union workers, will you please add your name to tell the Senate to pass the PRO Act now?
