Bread and Roses Missouri is hosting an Off the Clock: Arts and Activism After Hours event Saturday, March 4 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at Brennan’s Work & Leisure, 3015 Locust St., in St. Louis.

The party will feature cocktails, light appetizers and guest musician Celia, who will lead guests in a rousing and spirited protest song sing-along.

Bread and Roses Missouri uses an arts lens to examine social and economic justice issues. They believe that cultural and creative expression are a means to effect deep and lasting social change. The group participates in arts and humanities events, exhibits and workshops for and about workers and their families to address the root causes of poverty and inequality.
