The St. Louis Central Labor Council Diversity Committee has extended the deadline to complete its 2021 Labor Demographic Survey to Dec. 31.
The goal of the survey is to build power in the St. Louis Labor Movement by using the strength of its diversity in race, gender, cultures and national origins. The input will ensure all union members are connected to larger strategies intended to produce equitable results for the entire Labor community.
The collected data will be confidential and supported by Labor leaders to enact actions that are grounded in data-driven analysis and provide equitable, accountable results.
History has shown that building the power required to improve the lives of all working people happens when working people are united and strong, as demonstrated in the defeat of “right-to-work for less” in 1978 and 2018 in Missouri.
