Desloge celebrates Labor Day with annual parade and four-day picnic

Desloge, MO –  For union workers and their families in this small but vibrant community in St. Francois County, Labor Day weekend is chock full of activities, including a four-day “Labor Day Picnic” at Desloge City Park, featuring carnival rides, music, food and vendors.

But the annual Labor Day parade is the premier event with hundreds turning out to see union members from the various trades marching through the streets in a celebration of the skills, accomplishments and solidarity of Organized Labor.
