Ken Turnbough, a member of IBEW Local 1439, passed away Aug. 3, 2021 at age 48.

Brother Turnbough worked for more than 22 years as a lineman for Ameren UE, and he completely loved his job. He looked forward to going to work every day and seeing his co-workers.

He was the life of the party and will be remembered for his outgoing and lively personality. He had great compassion for others, and he was always there when you needed him. He could socialize with just about anyone and never met a stranger.

As an outdoorsman, he loved boating on the river, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed traveling and going to the beach, especially Cabo, Hawaii, and Melbourne Beach in Florida. He met his wife Tasha when they were teenagers and they have been together ever since. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and friend. He was loved so dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Loving husband of 23 years to Tasha Turnbough; beloved son of Margie Turnbough and the late Jack Turnbough; devoted father of Stone Turnbough and Solie Turnbough; dearest brother of Jacki Turnbough-Mata; and dear uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Aug. 11 at St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
