IN MEMORIAM: Laborers Local 110’s Ora Theodore Davis
Ora “Ted” Davis, a 55-year member of Laborers Local 110, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 11, 2023 at his Bonne Terre residence at age 74.
Brother Davis was born Feb. 28, 1949 in De Soto to the late Ora Buell and Alberta (Metts) Davis. He was a proud member of the Community of Christ Church in Bismarck and enjoyed traveling, camping, being a state park host and fishing, but his real joy was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn L. (Gray) Davis; children Heather (Matt) Worley and Matt Davis; grandchildren, Caleb and Theo; and sister Dorothy Becquette.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Donald Davis; and sister Mary Tinker.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 29 at 11 a.m. at Community of Christ Church in Bismarck, Mo.
